A modern version of the story written from Gretel's perspective. The Journal simulates a hand-made journal which records part of a teenage girl's life where she needs to spend time in the third space of the gingerbread house under the tutelage of a benevolent witch. Here she learns her 'inner magic' and returns to her life better equipped to cope with the difficulties she faces as an individual and a citizen of the world.
