One end of the Hutch is inhabited by Fauna: the artist-teacher-witch's familiar (teacher's assistant). Not much is known about Fauna - whether s/he takes the form of a fairy, a mouse or some other tiny creature, but s/he lives in comfort, easily accessible to the artist-teacher-witch, to assist her whenever needed. Witch's familiars are also notorious shape shifters, so we may never know when we encounter one.
